Cuisine of the Mediterranean
Mediterranean cuisine is known throughout the world, thanks in large part to the popularity of the Catalunia (Catalonia) area. Catalunia is one of the most beautiful regions of Spain and, as a result, is the part of the country that is most visited by tourists from all corners of the world.
Wheat fields, olive orchards and vineyards are the characteristic agricultural trio of the Mediterranean. The Catalonian flavor is based on a refined cooking style that is significantly influenced by the products of this trio. The sea and the mountains also contribute and manifest themselves through a variety of dishes that feature fresh fish and tender roasts. Agua Ardiente’s menu celebrates all of these diverse Mediterranean ingredients.
And of course, Valencia’s paella -- which is perhaps the one dish that Spain is best known for throughout the world -- is one of the exquisite and sophisticated specialties of Agua Ardiente. We thus capture the best of this region’s cuisine, where rice is its main product.
